ABOUT ME
Thanks for visting. I'm Johan Pienaar, a freelance/contract designer and front-end developer with more than a decade hands-on experience in web and interactive applications.
Though primarily a web designer/front-end developer, I'm constantly adding to my skill-set (currently through learning PHP/mySQL). Along with advanced skills in software applications such as PhotoShop, Fireworks, Flash and Dreamweaver, I also possess a solid understanding of database driven content management technologies - Concrete5, WordPress, CMS Made Simple etc...
My past positions include web designer/front-end developer at MWEB (South Africa's largest multi-service provider), Front-end developer Tutor at Natcoll YOOBEE - School of design, and senior web designer/front-end developer at both DMD Internet and AA Travel in Auckland. With the broad range of skills that I've gained from my experiences, I am able to offer you a variety of top-quality services.
My passions outside of working hours include photography and audio recording technology - allowing me to also assist you with my skilled technical proficiency in these three fields.
